Car Free Walks newsletter 20

Our Autumn / Winter 2016 newsletter is now out

November 2016 -

Focus on… the South Downs

The South Downs NPA has recently launched a free guide to 12 car-free sections of the South Downs Way. A pdf with routes and travel information is available to download from their website, and printed versions are available by post or at Tourist Information centres.

Much of the initial planning for Car Free Walks was done in the hills (and pubs) near Brighton and Lewes, so we are especially delighted to share this news!

On the blog

Continuing with the South Downs theme, we had a wet but enjoyable return visit at the end of the summer – you can read about it here.

We have also put together some ideas for of how to plan a car-free walk with kids: read them here, and let us know any more tips we can share.
