WEDNESDAY 26th MAY 2010 : TO BOLINGBROKE CASTLE

Enjoy a car-free walk in Lincolnshire using the Stagecoach No 6 Interconnect bus service. A delightful circular 8 mile walk along public footpaths and quiet lanes from SPILSBY via East Keal to visit Old Bolingbroke Castle birthplace of King Henry 4th. Depart: LINCOLN bus station at 09.00 or SKEGNESS bus station at 10.00 to SPILSBY. Walk starts at 10.30am after both buses have arrived at the Market Place in Spilsby.

SATURDAY 29th MAY 2010 : VIKING WAY BY BUS

Enjoy a car-free walk in Lincolnshire using the bus. A hard 15 mile linear walk along public footpaths and quiet lanes following the VIKING WAY from Burgh-on-Bain to Horncastle through the delightful rolling countryside of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Depart: LINCOLN bus station at 08.40, WRAGBY 09.09 on the Stagecoach No. 10 bus to Burgh-on-Bain then walk to HORNCASTLE and catch the hourly Stagecoach No. 6 bus back to Wragby and Lincoln.
