In July 2011 I led a team of 4 on the 'Trailwalker' Oxfam / Gurkha Welfare Trust 60 mile endurance challenge walk on the South Downs Way (we took 31 hours, 26 mins to complete). I travelled by public transport to some of my training walks and that's made me committed to using the car less for walks.
