Arguably the best day of the Pennine Way, can be done as solo day walk. Start at Skipton bus station. Bus 210 (M-F) or 75 (Sat) 9.50, arrive Malham 10.25. From Horton, trains back to Skipton 3.36, 5.48, 7.43 (M-F); 3.51, 5.48, 7.36 (Sat). In between, 15 miles of great walking. NB service times may vary, check the Web!
