No 19 of my walks from the Leeds-Settle-Carlisle railway line. This one takes in one of the Howgill Fells (Green Bell) which just makes mountain status (and has a trig pillar). One steep ascent/descent and a fair bit of generally quiet minor road walking. It's tempting to attack this via Ash Fell but it's a loooong 1 & 3/4 miles walk up/down the very busy A685 road with no adjacent footpath.
