Race Hill to Rottingdean

A linear, stroll-(1-2-hours) countryside walk in England starting at Race Hill, East Sussex, about 10km (roughly 6 miles) long and
unsuitable for families with children, prams/pushchairs, wheelchairs.
A walk from the top of Elm Grove to Rottingdean, across the Downs

Take a slight detour to visit the lovely gardens
Go through the gate in the wall to enter Kipling's Garden by the back entrance
The pub here is pretty good...
A visit to Rottingdean wouldn't be complete without a visit to the tearooms for a Sussex cream tea. Lashings of clotted cream and lemon curd.

Get the bus back to Brighton from here





From Rottingdean, you can take the undercliff path back to Brighton Marina if you want a longer walk. There are regular buses from here back to Brighton.
