The Camel Trail stretches from the town of Bodmin right along the River Camel to Padstow. This first section passes through some wonderful woodland scenery as the river cuts through the Cornish countryside. The walk starts in Bodmin, but you can cut out the first few waypoints by taking the Bodmin & Wenford Railway to Boscarne Junction - you can even travel by steam train!
