A fairly easy walk on good paths and tracks visiting an interesting old stone circle which, in legend, is the petrified remains of nine dancing ladies and their fiddler. Unfortunately, like all White Peak walks, it involves a significant amount of road walking but on very quite roads. There are places to eat in Birchover, just under half way round. Access to both ends is by the hourly Transpeak bus service from Derby to Buxton (and occasionally Manchester)
