The website MoneySavingExpert has launched a new tool to help you search for split tickets - splitting a long journey into two tickets. Strange as it may seem, this can often be cheaper than a single for the same journey - no-one has yet worked out why!
The TicketySplit website helps you search for these split tickets. They may not always be available, but it's well worth having a browse before booking a journey.
Another good website for split tickets is Raileasy's Trainsplit, where you can also book the tickets.
