I found this route in an issue of The Great Outdoors and it's a wonderful stop on a tour through the Hebrides. Eriskay is a beautiful island and well worth a day or two spent exploring. There are no buses from the north, nor ferries from the mainland, so you have to arrive and return via Barra. Visit
