A Cornish walk without the coast! It may seem unnatural to some lovers of Cornwall, but this route along the river Tamar shows the other side of this glorious county. From Calstock, enjoy riverside and woodland walking to reach Cotehole House and quay (www.nationaltrust.org.uk/cotehele). Retrace your steps back to Calstock for a beer in one of the town's pubs.
