A beautiful walk along the left bank of the River Cam, crossing over only one road in its 10 miles. Countryside, resembling a Constable painting, but mind some of the herds of cows grazing near the riverbanks.

A couple of tips to make it a more enjoyable walk;
If you're walking on a bright winters afternoon the sun can be blinding. Better to do littleport to Ely as the sun will be at your backs.
Secondly if you do walk littleport to ely (which is better due to frequency of trains). Don't follow the fen river Way signs taking you across the bridge at the swan pub. Stay on the same side. Much nicer!
