Another Tarka Line walk from the Tarka Rail Association, this time along the northwest stretch of the line. From Umberleigh, the route takes you along some of Devon's famous winding lanes between the two stations, with a pub stop along the way. A short section on a busy road means its only suitable for well-controlled families!
Note that the train only stops regularly at Portsmouth Arms on Sundays, so save the walk for that day.
