On recent visits to the Lakes, I've developed a peculiar habit for a hill walker - I've stopped climbing to the top. Instead, I've been exploring the valleys, side summits and becks that make up this wonderful place. This route explores some of the outer corners of the Skiddaw massif from Keswick, making for an alternative to a romp up Skiddaw.
