A bit of a 'pinch' this one as it's the southern end of the Berwickshire Coast Path but it's a lovely 12 mile, mainly flat, clifftop walk from England to Scotland and well worth a full summer's day outing (or even an overnight stay) as both towns are well worth a good wander (Berwick is worth a days intense exploration alone if you have the time.) Regular buses between both towns & from Edinburgh.
