A walk for the times when the fields are full of mush!
This route, initially along the canal towpath, then follows old railway lines, most of which have been tarmac'ed into 'Greenways'.
Approx 7 miles long.
The Greenways are part of the National Cycle Network so expect plenty of bikers en-route.
Regular buses & trains serve Mirfield & Dewsbury from Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield & Wakefield.

Chris is quite correct, east is east and it should not be west.Sadly, at the moment, I can't edit or delete this walk so I hope people will look at the comments page.
I'm going to notify the CFW team of this error in the hope they can amend it.

Waypoint 1 (the start) should say take the towpath East.
West takes you towards Brighouse or Huddersfield
