A very strenuous 15-mile, 8-hour walk for EXPERIENCED mountain walkers only. The walk is on tarmac roads, forestry tracks, grassy paths, small sections of boggy ground, muscle-testing narrow, stone-protected inclines to ascend and descend, but, overall, on a clear day, worth the effort for fine views of the peaks of the Snowdon Horseshoe over 3000 ft and the Carneddau Range.
