Start the walk in Cabourne, on the northern edge of the Wolds. From the bus stop, walk away from the church towards Grimsby. In the fields either side are lots of bumps - evidence that Medieval Cabourne was a larger settlement.

Take the bridleway on the right-hand side of the road.
