Walk starts at the railway station.

Turn Left out of station, and walk to Wood Street Bridge. This right by the Stadium, which looks a bit like a space ship. Walk alongside the the river with the Stadium to your R.

When you reach the next bridge you will see Cardiff Castle to your R. Cross the road, turn R, with animal wall on your L. Turn L through wall at gate, and you are in Bute Park.

You can cross over the R Taff at this point and go up the other side. Alternatively you can carry on on the R bank of the river and cross further up by the weir. This walk takes you across the foot bridge. Turn R along L bank of river.

the walk along the L bank of the river will take you to a large open green space to your L. Turn L to cross this, approaching an avenue of trees, where there is a metalled path.

You need to find the gate in the wall that will take you through to Llandaf Fields, where the soccer games are being played. There's a kids playground just on the other side of the wall.

Bear L, having gone through wall. This will take you towards Penhill. Turn R on the main road, up a slight hill towards the traffic lights. The park will be on your R, and houses on your L.

Cross over the lights onto Pencisely Road. Carry straight on.

Turn L into Thompson's Park, and walk down hill through the park to Romilly Rd

Leave Thompson's Park at its lowest point, onto Romilly Rd. I can't remember exactly where the gate is in relation to Romilly Place. I think you turn R, and then L into Romilly Place. Go down Romilly Place.

Turn L onto Pembroke Rd.

Turn R onto Glamorgan St. Carry on down the street, Oriel Canfas is on the L.
