A circular walk from Middle Darnford campsite that takes less than one hour. There are great views of the Shropshire Plain from the Port Way. The Golden Valley is spectacular in Autumn, with Hornbeam and Beech trees along the route.

Head right out of the campsite up the road. At the top of the hill, cross the stile into a field. The campsite is a short walk from Ratlinghope, which has a few bus connections to nearby towns.

Cross the stile and head down the slope into the valley. Head for the bridge which crosses a stream at the bottom of the valley.
