A walk through the historic Marl Hall Woods and Coed (wood) Bron Garth (Coed Cadw). I went with the representatives of the Woodland Trust, passing through the National Trust grounds at Bodysgallen Hall, with spectacular views across the Conway Valley to Snowdonia and beautifull, sometimes rare woodland scenery.
The Woodland Trust are working to improve the experience with seats and sculptered rock figures in the form of animals, with a map following these sculptures. I would suggest the walk is suitable for families with children aged over about 7 with supervision.
I started this walk from Mochdre but Bryn Pydew can be reached from Penrhyn Bay, Llandudno and Llandudno Junction.Â
