A leisurely walk (riverside) starting and finishing in Cornwall, England, about 8.70km (5.41 mi) long with an estimated walking time of about 2:30h. It is suitable for families with children, prams & pushchairs, wheelchairs.
The Camel Trail is a recreational trail running along the River Camel in Cornwall. Much of the route is along a disused railway track, which has been reclaimed for use by walkers and cyclists.
The well-surfaced path makes it an easy stroll, so you can take your time to enjoy the wonderful Cornish scenery. The trail actually extends to Bodmin if you want a longer walk. Note it is also a cycle path, so keep an eye out for bikes whizzing past.
Buses run from Wadebridge to Padstow. Leave time for some food in Padstow - one of the UK's dining hotspots!
More info on the trail can be found here: www.cornwall.gov.uk/default.aspx?page=13412
