This walk in Borrowdale combines a middle-sized fell with a walk up and down the valley - the perfect combo, like the mountain equivalent of a pint and some crisps. There's plenty of options for extending the day on the surrounding tops, but some days it's just better to pack an extra cake and maybe two flasks of coffee and laze about by the tarns.
