One of my favourite Spring walks on the Island. The walk takes you up one side of the River Yar and then back again. There are some places to stop and rest at the beginning of the walk. Alternatively, when you get to Yarmouth (about an hours walk), you can stop there and have a break. There is an Ice Cream shop called Scoops that is lovely jubbily. The walk back does not have any places to stop and get some refreshments though until you get back to te Red Lion at the beginning. There is no reason why you cannot follow the route in reverse order.
