Ludlow is famed for its fine dining, and what better way to work up an appetite than with a good walk? This route from Overton, one of the Mortimer Country Bus Walks, is an easy stroll that will fill the time before you fill your stomach.

The 490 bus has been retained and will run for another year through to April 2017 so now is the time to don your boots and enjoy this lovely bus walk. Buses leave Ludlow Assembly Rooms at 0920, 1020, 1250, 1555, and 1720 on Mondays to Fridays and 1020 and 1250 on Saturdays. Unfortunately no Sunday service now.

The additional 490 buses are scheduled to leave Ludlow (Assembly Rooms) at 1020 and 1250. I stated that the second departure was 1220...apologies for this.

This is a lovely walk enjoyed by local people and visitors staying this Walkers are Welcome town. From May 11th, 2015 there will be two additional buses from Ludlow to Overton on the 490 service (used to be 492) on Mondays to Fridays. The buses leave Ludlow (by Assembly Rooms) at 1020 and 1220 which make this more of a convenient option.
