A short circular walk from Appleby Railway Station mainly along tarmac footpath & a little riverside track. A good walk to include a lunch or riverside picnic in. Plenty of facilities in the town (pubs, cafes, toilets) & ducks on the water (otters if you're incredibly lucky). The redoutable Lady Anne Cliffords shadow still extends over the town, check for details on the web or Tourist Info Centre.
