The southern half of The Millennium Way (walked north to south) that detours near St Marks to avoid fields that, at the time of visiting (August), were full of cows with young calves. Buses half hourly to Crosby. All (mainly quiet) road until you reach Silverdale Glen. Suitable for older children due to length and the short section of main road walking.
