This route gives you a chance to explore a popular mountain in a different way. Rather than the familiar path, you approach Cadair Idris from further away for a longer day out - more time to appreciate this fine mountain. Buses are limited around here so consider making it a two-day trip. They connect to Tywyn, the nearest station.

Buses

Note there are no buses on Sundays at present, so don't get caught out if you plan a weekend visit!
