A relatively straightforward Munro from Corrour station. Makes a perfect day out between trains, or even better spend the night at Loch Ossian SYHA and enjoy the surroundings for a little longer! There's nothing tricky about the hill, but it is remote so come prepared.

Take the West Highland Railway to Corrour Station for a truly car-free walk - there are no roads round these parts! From the station, take the track signposted to the youth hostel. Before reaching the hostel, take the fork in the track bearing left.

Near the shore of Loch Ossian, you will reach another fork. From here, it's simple - walk uphill! There's no clear path, so take a bearing and start bashing that slope until you reach the summit ridge.

Follow the lochside path to the hostel. Rather than dash for the train back, why not head for a night lochside in this great little hostel? Log fire, the birds chirping across the water, a sunset behind the Nevis Range, maybe even a drop of whisky - what more could you want?
