This is a walk around the old quarries of Haytor, following the routes of the old tram tracks: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haytor_Granite_Tramway From Haytor Tourist Information car park, cross the road and go right of the Tor. Go through gate to old disused granite quarry, come back out and carry on to the right of the quarry and follow the concrete tramway in various directions. Buses don't run to Haytor Vale every day, but between April and October you can use the Haytor Hoppa (www.dartmoor-npa.gov.uk/ - search for 'Haytor Hoppa')
