Holyhead-Ty Mawr-Huts-Ellin's Tower-South Stack-North Stack-Caer y Twr-Breakwater Country Park-Maritime Museum-Holyhead, Strenuous on mountain, cliffs and hill paths, track and lane, advise families to use tarmac road (out and back), children must be closely supervised at Ellin's Tower and South Stack (unfenced dangerous sheer cliffs), ascent and descent of mountain may be too much for children that is why I suggest families use tarmac road and allow all day if you wish to visit the attractions.

RSPB station, free admission, provide binoculars and telescopes and CCTV cameras focused on cliffs to see nests, if you wish to go to the lighthouse for guided tour you have to buy your tickets here, if you have small children, they must be highly supervised in this area, also they may not manage the next part of the walk over the mountain so suggest you go back the way you came, all others head for waypoint 9.
