This walk, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, is a wonderful high-level walk between the towns of Talgarth and Crickhowell. It's a long day out, with a fair walk in through the countryside from Talgarth, but well worth the effort for several miles of easy ridge walking, with amazing views on all sides. There are no direct buses between Crickhowell and Talgarth, but both have good connections to Brecon, so it's possible to base yourself in any of the three towns. And the bus rides in between are also very enjoyable.
