A leisurely walk (countryside) in Hertfordshire, England, about 6.40km (3.98 mi) long with an estimated walking time of about 2:15h. It is unsuitable for families with children, prams & pushchairs, wheelchairs.

At the top of the hill, turn left and follow the path to the monument. After a while you will see a cafe on your right. Across the green beyond the monument, the paths continue
The path takes you past some stables and out onto a road. Go straight across the road and follow another path through a small, dense wood. The path comes out of the wood and onto the golf course. Hug the edge of the golf course.
