Start at the Monument, Titley. Walk past the parish church to join the Mortimer Trail. Go left following the Trail waymarks, through a gate and then two kissing gates. Follow the hedge on the right to reach a gate. Once through proceed ahead up the field and as the field corner bends right keep ahead to a kissing gate and head slightly right to go through a gate in the next hedge. Keep ahead again. Go through another gate, and now aim for a point just to the right of the farm, cross a stile and pass by the buildings.

Cross a stile onto a track, turn left and then right along a track, past more buildings and farmhouse. Proceed along a track known as Green Lane, through two barred gates, then over a stile next to a gate and through a gateway, rising slowly above Titley below on the left. On reaching a barn (Burnt House) go ahead at the junction and cross over a stile to follow a fence on the right. Ignore two stiles on your right but cross another stile ahead of you into Stocking Wood. Proceed ahead but at the junction turn right over a stile and walk ahead with the fence and hedge on the left.

Enter a wood at Brampton Scar; the path bends right and left to weave between trees until it comes alongside a fence on the left. Cross a stile to follow a path beneath a dense coniferous patch. This eventually descends steps to join another track where you go left. Ignore a turning to the right behind you and very soon turn left. Cross a stile to enter a large field. You now leave the Mortimer Trail. Go half right up the hillside to cross a stile in the far top corner to join Offa's Dyke Path at Rushock Hill where there are excellent views across Radnorshire Forest.

As the hedge bends left, keep ahead, then go through a gate in the hedge in front of you. In the next field head half left to go through a gate. The path bends slightly left and climbs to a stile. Cross it and go slightly right up to a stile. Cross this and go half left, aiming towards the wood which you pass. Cross a stile by a gate, continue slightly right to cross a stile into the golf course at Bradnor Hill, then go left to a gate onto a road.

Go left at the junction but after 40 yards cut slightly right between green to descend to a signpost with the clubhouse to the left. The clubhouse serves refreshments and welcomes walkers (minus their boots). Go down the hill, passing cottages on your left. Cross a track just to the left of a white house, and descend a grassy patch through a gate onto a narrow path. Continue downhill through kissing gates and gates until you reach a tarmac lane. Go left down to the main A44 road and Kington. Cross with care, go over the footbridge and turn left to walk along a lane. Go ahead at the cross roads and at the next junction turn left to pass St John House on your right and then turn right into the Square. Go left on the main road to the Town Hall. Turn right for Mill Street bus stops.
