This is one of the most enjoyable sections of the Jurassic Coast. The red cliffs between Exmouth and Sidmouth provide wonderful views as you head over the clifftops. Some sections are quite steep, but there is nothing too challenging.
It's possible to connect this with the walk from Sidmouth to Seaton for a two-day option. The bus services along the coast make it easy to get to the start and finish, and there is also a train from Exeter to Exmouth.
