The Jurassic Coast is a World Heritage Site and there's no better way to explore than by foot. This walk, along the South West Coast Path from Sidmouth to Seaton, takes in some of the best scenery of the coast. Don't be fooled into thinking it's a coastal ramble - there's some serious legwork to be done. You can find out more about the region here: www.jurassiccoast.com

Devon's coastline is rugged and no mistake. It's a steep climb - the first of many - up to Salcombe Hill Cliff.

Beer X 2

Grew up locally, and finally got to walk this section of coastline with my 13yr old son. Walked from Sidmouth to Branscombe on a October afternoon / evening, with the last section navigated with head torches for more of an adventure!

Followed up two days later with the section from Branscombe to Beer. Fantastic views (for the section walked in daylight!), topped off with a beer in Beer!

Walk One Way & Catch The Bus Back

I love this walk it's got amazing views. I recommend walking one way and catching the AVMT 899 bus back, it runs from Seaton to Sidmouth via Beer & Branscombe. The 899 is a brilliant bus ride, traveling along scenic country lanes with great views.

Get It Right

Salcombe Hill (Para 3) is in Devon not Dorset!
