A leisurely walk (riverside) in Suffolk, England, about 9.30km (5.78 mi) long with an estimated walking time of about 2:45h. It is unsuitable for families with children, prams & pushchairs, wheelchairs.
This varied walk offers the best of walking in East Anglia with gentle riverside scenery, farmland and some the mudflats. It's easy walking, so plenty of time to enjoy the scenery.
From the station, head along Station Road and turn left on to Quay Road. After a few metres, the footpath starts on the opposite side of the road, following the New Reach stream out of Halesworth and under the railway line.
The path weaves through countryside, but it's the only bit where you may need to concentrate on the map. Pass the gravel pit and continue through a small patch of woodland.
Thanks for noting, it's a while since I walked it! I have changed it slightly to be a circular route.

Blyford To Blythburgh
You can't reach Blythburgh from the south side of the river. The footpath runns along the river wall which has been breached and the path is now impassable.
What do you think?
