A fantastic walk, but with lots of steep paths and zig-zags. The going is rough at times, challenging for many, with several ascents and descents. However, the way is mostly easy to follow and well waymarked, and you will be rewarded by wonderful, varied mountain views, with an exciting gorge and high level footbridge at Parson’s Bridge. This is Walk 5 in 'Railway Walks in the Vale of Rheidol' available from the Vale of Rheidol Railway online shop at £5. Catch the 10.30 am train from Aberystwyth, and the 4.15 pm return from Devil's Bridge. Accomodation at the Hafod Hotel.
