A leisurely walk (riverside) starting and finishing in Ceredigion, Wales, about 6.40km (3.98 mi) long with an estimated walking time of about 1:45h. It is suitable for families with children, but unsuitable for prams & pushchairs, wheelchairs.
This is more a day out than a serious walk, but no less enjoyable for it. Take the steam train along the Rheidol valley to Devil's Bridge before retracing your steps along the Afon Rheidol. It's not cheap - you have to pay to enter the footpath at Devil's Bridge, as well as the price of the steam train - but it's a worthwhile splash for a fun walk in Wales. As you would expect, the train journey is all part of the fun: www.rheidolrailway.co.uk
From the village centre, head west until you reach the path to Mynach Falls. You have to pay a small fee to visit. More info here: www.devilsbridgefalls.co.uk/
