This is a favourite delightful and easy circular in the Rheidol Valley, with a nice break at the Visitor Centre (in summer) halfway round, and mostly easy walking. It starts and finishes at Rheidol Falls Halt, a quaint request stop on the narrow gauge railway, completely inaccessible by car. It is also possible to include a free guided tour of the Hydro-electric power station...inquire at the Visitor Centre. This is Walk 13 in 'Railway Walks in the Vale of Rheidol' by Maurice Kyle, available from the railway's online shop at £5.

From the ruined building, go up right to the waymarked stile where you retrace your steps up the hill to the railway Halt. It is best to allow at least 20 minutes for the walk uphill to catch your train home!
